Dimitri Medvedev has become today the 3rd President of the Russian Federation. As for Vladimir Putin, well, he is not going too far. He should be named Prime Minister later this week.
In April, Putin accepted to become the chairman of the party United Russia. This party controls the Duma and supports the new President. Any major change in Russia’s policies over the next four years would therefore be a surprise...
